Make a family visit easier to plan

A family trip to Amed works best when your room, food, play time and transport fit your children’s needs. At SALT you can combine a beachfront stay with a pool, a kids’ menu and a free indoor kids club. Plan the essentials before arrival and keep the daily schedule flexible.

Start with the bed layout

Tell us the number and ages of children travelling, including any baby needing a cot. The Superior Family Room has layouts for up to four guests, while the Seaview Studio Apartment combines space for up to four with a private kitchen. Check the selected room’s capacity and request your preferred layout before booking. An additional bed may carry a charge.

Use our family accommodation page to explore rooms, or the room comparison to weigh up kitchen facilities, views and location.

Cots, play time and babysitting

Baby cots are available free of charge on request. Salty Monkeys Kids Club is a free, air-conditioned play space for hotel guests and visiting families, recommended for ages one to five, with other ages also welcome. Facilities include toys, books, colouring, a small ball pit and a play kitchen. Contact the team for current hours and arrangements for your child.

Babysitting can be arranged separately on request, subject to availability. Confirm supervision and any babysitting needs directly with the team before making other plans. Read more about Salty Monkeys Kids Club.

Pool, beach and mealtimes

SALT’s 17-metre pool and beachfront setting make it easy to spend time together close to your room. Children need adult supervision around both water areas. Pool and beach towels are provided. Conditions at the beach vary, so ask the team for local advice on the day.

The restaurant has a dedicated kids’ menu alongside Indonesian and international food. Vegan and gluten-free choices are available. Tell staff about allergies and other dietary needs before ordering so the kitchen can advise on ingredients and preparation.

Can families visit without staying overnight?

Yes. Visiting families are welcome at the restaurant and kids club. Pool access is free with a food or drink purchase. Contact the team before travelling if a specific facility or arrangement is essential to your visit. Our guest information page has more frequently asked questions.
